La Peña de Horeb (LPH), a non for profit ministry, and the partnering organizations Hispanic Coalition, Fundacion Perla de Esperanza, Positive promotions and Alma Prints, are proud to announce the “HEALTHY CHILDREN – HAPPY FAMILIES FAIR & BUSINESS EXPO FAIR OF 2013.” This signature event will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 a the First Baptist Church building located at 8950 Stirling Road, Cooper City, Florida 33024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Our first and second Community Health & Expo Business Fair was a tremendous success and greatly surpassed all attendance expectations. For the 2013 event, we are expecting more participants that the previous 2 years.

The Church La Peña de Horeb is seeking sponsorship and funding to engage Hispanic Children and their families residing in Broward County to incorporate by DownloadNSave" href="#">healthy eating habits into their day to day lifestyle. The Healthy Children – Happy Families of 2013 event will engages students, small children and their families in various activities such as: Children Self-defense Teaching and Training; Fashion Show for boys and girls; photos shots from professional photographer; Modeling & Dance Schools for children and Zumba Demostration show. These activities will cultimate with a Healthy Food Show named “Cooper City Mini Iron Chef.”

The 3rd Annual LPH Community Health Fair & Business Expo provides a unique opportunity to reach the growing Hispanic Market of Broward & by DownloadNSave" href="#">Miami Dade County and beyond. There are providers to guide participants where they can be seeing and get follow-up care for little or not cost to them and, other community resources that are at their disposal.
